For family and nurses

Rammy Alerts

This is the phone app. It is live. There is no App Store listing and no Play Store listing for Rammy itself. You add the page to the home screen. The icon is the ram.

Not a medical device. Vitals in Rammy Alerts are notes the family entered. They are not medical advice, and the app does not call 911.

What the phone can do

It rings

Calls, a help alert, and a check-in fill the screen and play a ringtone while Rammy Alerts is open.

Call home

A large button places a video call to her television. On her screen, an incoming call can answer by itself.

Vitals

Heart rate, blood pressure, blood sugar, weight, and oxygen, when someone has entered them.

Visitors and meds

A visitor list, medicine updates, and a history of who changed a medicine.

Add it to an iPhone

Use Safari. The iPhone needs iOS 16.4 or newer. The Chrome app on iPhone cannot add this page.

  1. Open Rammy Alerts in Safari.
  2. Tap Share. It is the square with the arrow.
  3. Scroll the sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add. The icon is the ram.
  5. Open that icon and pair there. Pairing in the Safari tab does not carry over.

Add it on Android

  1. Open Rammy Alerts in Chrome.
  2. Tap the three dots.
  3. Tap Install app. If that is missing, tap Add to Home screen.
  4. Open the ram icon. On Android, the browser tab and the icon keep the same pairing.

A loud ring when the phone is locked

While Rammy Alerts is open, a call fills the screen. When the phone is locked, this page cannot ring by itself.

Install the free ntfy app. Tap +, and paste the Rammy Alerts code from the family page on the home computer. Use that code, not the pairing code. The pairing code stays on the phone.
